Plain beautiful package with tremendous live stuff going on. In these scary and – at same time – boring times, without gigs, it is exactly what we all need!
Just to get a taste and feel of what we miss. The show(s) in the moody Wildey Theatre, Illinois, are filmed really well. Although not always best possible visual quality, but captured with dynamism, passion, bright ideas, full of inspiring multimedia and psychedelic effects.
    The sound is superb.
In last six years I saw Martin Barre Band four times (in Poland, Austria and Czechia). Every concert has been a vulcano of energy, spiced with doze of eclectism. That wonderful bunch of musicians is incredibly tight.
The shows recorded on that DVD released are no exception. Doubled drums, in a hands of incredible Darby Todd and old Tull companion Clive Bunker, work for even bigger effect, especially on songs “For A Thousand Mothers” and “Nothing Is Easy”, not to forget bonus track “Dharma For One”.
I could wish bigger input from ex-Tull keyboard player and orchestral arranger Dee Palmer, but… Hell, she is +80! Her parts on “One White Duck” and piano introduction to “War Child” are beautiful. Simply haunting.
The acoustic segment, with vocals from Alex Hart and Becca Langsford, brings a tears to eyes. I am glad “Life Is A Long Song” is included (ommited on track list on this website).
Lots of song titles appeared already on “MLB – 50 Years Of Jethro Tull” album, but all the stuff still sounds very fresh.
    I find between-track narration bit weird, though…
This release shows a genius of Tull work, which can be interpreted in so many alternative ways. Here is a full-blown rock version with enthusiasm and undeniable power. Just check heavy-driven “Jump Start” and almost Metallica-like “Hunting Girl” for instance.
Martin is a wonderful talented guitarist, so underrated. I truly admire his work and love for the music, artistic & personal success he made after 2011.
As a die-hard fan of both, I highly recommend that DVD to Jethro Tull and Martin Barre Band fans.
See you somewhere on the road, finally and all the best from Poland.

Bought the album yesterday. A great live CD. Just love the setlist in chronological order. The album sounds great. Three Hoorahs for Martin Barre and his band.
